Hartmann Schedel war ein deutscher Humanist, Medizinwissenschaftler, Historiker und Chronist.
Schedel war der erste, der eine Weltchronik verfasste, die sogenannte Visuelle Geschichte der Erde von der Erschaffung der Welt bis in die 1490er Jahre, bekannt als Schedelsche Weltchronik. Sie wurde im Jahr 1493 in Nürnberg veröffentlicht. Die rund 600 Holzschnitte für dieses Buch wurden von den Künstlern und Kupferstechern Michael Wolgemuth (1434-1519) und Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528) geschaffen. Die Illustrationen zeigen biblische Szenen, Genealogien, Porträts berühmter Persönlichkeiten sowie Märchen- und Sagengestalten. Vor allem aber handelt es sich um Karten der Welt, Deutschlands und Mitteleuropas.
Hartmann Schedel war einer der ersten Kartographen, die den Maschinendruck einsetzten. Er war auch ein bekannter Sammler von Büchern, Kunstwerken und Stichen alter Meister.

I allways loved drawing and painting. But different circumstances interrupted me from creating art for a long time. And last years I've got the time and opportunity to do what I love best. I love wachting nature and animals, especially dogs. I like to watch them, analyze, reveal the character and mood, and then try to reflect this all in my pictures. I'm fond of drawing with pastels on paper and painting with oils on canvas. These techniques help me express emotions, shape, character of the animal through the color. I was born in Moscow, Russia, but now I'm living in Lithuania. I would like to sell my works because I want to show my works different tipes of people in different countries. All my friends, relatives and neirbours have already seen my works, most of them bought it. I'm ready to move on.

Aliona Gordon is a professional artist, the founder of brand Gordons Gemstone Art, the author of a unique technique for creating images with gems and semi-precious stones, a member of the creative association “Peacemakers’ Union “Light”, diploma winner of various national and international art exhibitions.
She received her education at the Art College named after Glebov, painting department, in 1994.
Each Aliona Gordon’s work is of the highest level made in a single copy. The artistic merit and unique technique of the paintings arouse admiration.
For her works the author uses such luxurious natural materials as amethyst, garnet, malachite, charoite, jasper and other semi-precious stones. Diamond inlay and a high level of craftsmanship make each painting a real work of art, which is of great interest to collectors as well as to those who want to purchase an object to serve as a family heirloom, the significance of which has no time limits.
Each work has no equivalent and can be perceived as a tangible asset.
Over the years of Gordons Gemstone Art existence more than 150 pieces of art have been made which are stored in private collections of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, America, Germany, Switzerland, UK as well as in the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity (Antarctica, the Island of Waterloo, the Belinzgauzen polar base), the Sanctuary of St. Vladimir in Kaliningrad (Russian Federation), in the Chapel of Okovetskaya Mother of God (Russian Federation), and in the Sanctuary of St. Andrew in Minsk (Belarus), the collection of the Museum of History of Minsk (Belarus).
